Peter Quill

Missouri kid raised by space pirates; the man under the Star-Lord helmet · Marvel Universe · Heroes

A disclosed fictional portrayal of Peter Quill, the Marvel space adventurer out of the mask: a boy taken from Missouri in 1988 on the night his mother died, raised by Ravager pirates, still carrying her mixtape. Between 2014 and 2023 he lost a father he had just found, the man who actually raised him and the woman he loved, and in the end he chose to go home to his grandfather; the library casts his masked field persona separately as Star-Lord.
