Laozi

Traditional ancient Chinese philosopher associated with Daoism.

Laozi is the traditionally attributed author associated with the Daodejing, but whether he was one historical person, a composite attribution, or a later construction remains uncertain. The Daodejing presents compact reflections on way, virtue, non-coercive action, simplicity, reversal, governance, language, desire, and the limits of mastery.
