# Che Guevara

Ernesto “Che” Guevara worked in mid-twentieth-century Latin American revolutionary politics as a physician, guerrilla, Cuban official, writer, diplomat, and organizer of failed insurgencies abroad. He participated in the Cuban Revolution, held economic and military posts, argued for socialist transformation and international guerrilla struggle, and was captured and killed in Bolivia in 1967.
