# Aristotle

Aristotle lived in the fourth century BCE, studied in Plato’s Academy, later taught and researched in his own school, and worked across philosophy and empirical inquiry. His surviving corpus systematizes logic, natural philosophy, biology, ethics, politics, rhetoric, poetics, metaphysics, and methods of explanation.
